TTU a.k.a Troy Taylor University is a show/class done by Troy Taylor himself. He does these classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays in which are called TroyTaylorTakeoverTuesday/Thursday. These classes were first broadcasted on June 10,2009 on a new, popular live chat site called ustream. Now for those who don't know who Troy Taylor is but calls themselves Trey Songz fans need to get with it. Troy has been Trey's mentor/producer since Trey was 15 years old, and he is now 24 years old. Me and my fellow TTU mates gain a lot from watching this man. He is very wise, intellectual, and entertaining. What more can you ask for. Troy Taylor has been in the music industry for about 20 years no..producing beats and organizing harmonies. He even hops on some himself. He's worked with artists such as B2k, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, and Tyrease. His class has caused me to meet beautiful people who I plan on meeting and being friends for life with..who knows.
Even though Troy is set to broadcast only on Tues. and Thurs., he often blesses us with his presence spontaneously throughout the week. You just better hope you're home to peep him because each show is a treat. Me, personally, has grown to really admire this man. I look forward for his classes, and I enjoy chatting it up with him on twitter. One of the highest points of my summer is having gotten a twitter account, come across Troy and the TTU fam, and learn as much as I have while make new buddies. This unit is a great one - we love and support Trey.

So I've had a twitter account for a minute but I really didn't use it that often. I came back to tweet back and forth with my friends but I could have never imagined being connected with Troy and all of my awesome TTU family. Trey gets mad props for bringing me together with all of you. It's our genuine love and appreciation for him, his talent, and passion for his craft that brought us all together.
ReplyDeleteTroy has truly been an inspiration to me. His walk with Christ is so amazing. It gives me support in my own walk with him. I love that from what I have seen of him, he truly represents the heart of Christ. He is non-judgmental and accepting of all of us.
U know I truly think me watchin Troy on ustream and becomig a part of TTU/TSMB is a blessing in disguise! I really feel like I am in a class where Im actually learning LOL. Troy has a very unique way with his words b/c alot the things he says Ive heard before, but coming from him, they sound so inspirational and touching. And if it wasnt for him and Trey(cant forget him LOL) I wouldnt have "met" so many wonderful ppl. I know we havent physically met yet, I feel like I have so much in common w/ you guys. Honestly I feel more comfortable talking to yall than I do some of my friends I talk to everyday! Yall show true dedication and love Trey/Troy and I think thats really great.Hopefully one day we could all come together and have one big ole TTU/TSMB party LMAO. Okay I know have too much already but one last thing -- like Jemi said Trey is so blessed to have a mentor like Troy. He has such a warm personality(if that makes sense) and genuine. He could be doing a milion other things, but yet he sets his time aside to come talk/educate us! I really hope to meet him and Trey one day!
ReplyDeleteI've known who Troy was, but didn't have a lot of info on him outside of his work with Trey.I just read this, hit up Sabrina's FAQ's, & Troy's myspace to get a little extra knowledge. Now I think it's time I join up.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've seen from the TTU members, Troy gives some serious info and it's good that's he's willing to put that out there & share. I'm glad to see TTU is so tight with one another and shows much love for each other, Troy, Trey, & anyone else affliated with them. That's good and it makes you want to be involved.
Can't wait to see what other kinds of insight & knowledge Troy shares and to see the TTU group get better & stronger.
