Chapter 39: You will not fail me

The two workers of Ace watched as the tiger took a drink out of river that slithered threw the forest that was located on the island.

"So do we get her now."

"NO! Do you see what she is?! You wanna try to catch a tiger go head!"

"Damn Angel, you're right. So when is she gonna turn back?"

"I don't know Gabriel! When she calms down I guess."

The two men gazed back at the river, and saw that the tiger was gone.

"Oh shit." Angel said, while glancing around.

"Damnit! Where'd she go?" Gabriel said, pulling his gun out.

Then they heard laughter right behind them. They both turned around, and saw Joniesha standing there totally naked. Her body had changed over the time of the injected. Smooth muscles rippled out, she had a 4 pack slightly showing, she had a tattoo of a tiger right above her center. The men just stared, as Joniesha turned her head to the side, and studied them.

"Hmmm, Ace sent you I gather?"

They both nodded.

"Names?"

"Gabriel."

"Angel."

"Wow such Godly names for such evil doings." Joniesha said, as she walked towards them smiling.

"Don't move!" Gabriel said, pointing his gun at her. Joniesha smiled, and kept walking.

Her eyes turned a purple color, as Gabriel and Angel stared into her eyes. Joniesha let out a small growl, as fingernails started to grow, and become extremely sharp. Then, before Gabriel and Angel could even act, she had sliced them in half. Joniesha closed her eyes, as blood splattered on her. When she opened them, she saw the two bodies in half..she smiled, and turned around. Ace stood there.

"Hello beautiful."

Joniesha frowned. "Ace? Strange to see you here."

"I thought I see what my masterpiece has become, I knew these two fools wouldn't be able to handle you." he nodded his head towards the bodies split on the ground.

"Masterpiece? You say this as if you own me."

"I do. I've made you."

Joniesha frowned. "Is that so?"

"Now how are you feeling?"

"Calmer. I think I overreacted."

Ace stared at her in shock. "What?"

"I mean it was 7 years ago...this shit you injected into me causes me to lose my temper pretty quick without thinking. I love Vann too much, always have."

Ace frowned. "You love him?"

"Yea I do." Joniesha said. Then she glanced at the bag in Ace's hand. "What's that?"

Ace glanced down at the bag. "Clothes."

"For me?"

"Yea." Ace said, tossing her the bag, still stuck in thought.

Joniesha got dressed in less than 30 seconds, she wore:

She ruffled her hair a little bit, and then stared at Ace. "Imma go join my friends now."

Joniesha turned, and heard very faintly as she ran towards back to the house. "This is not over, you will not fail me."

Nesh had just finished putting a bandage on Vann's leg, when Tiffany ran into the room.

"She's back."

Everyone stood up, as Joniesha walked into the door. The room was so thick with tension, you could cut it with a knife. Joniesha glanced around the room until her eyes landed on Vann. Vann stared back at her, her eyes were her normal hazel color. Vann knew she was at her calm state. Joniesha glanced down at his leg.

"I did that?" Joniesha asked, her voice coming out in a whisper, that send a ripple threw the room.

Vann slowly nodded.

"I'm sorry." Joniesha said, everyone stared at her in shock. "I overreacted, this stupid shit in my blood has my emotions all out of wack. I got to learn how to control that better."

Natasha spoke first. "Heffa don't apologize! He got what he deserved..and you turned into a tiger! That's some pretty crazy shit."

"Language Tash." Troy said.

"Whatever Troy!" Natasha said, as Joniesha snapped her head in Troy's direction. Then she really got a good look at who was in the room. Her eyes landed on Howard, then Yonny, then Nesh, and finally back on Troy.

"What are you guys doing here? Undercover detectives as well huh?"

Troy nodded. "We didn't think you were coming back, we thought Ace would get you."

Joniesha laughed. "Ace can't handle me..the only way he'll get me is if I go on my own freewill, or catch me unexpectedly. Which is real hard to do."

Troy nodded, as his eyes traveled over Joniesha body. Joniesha glared, and then rolled her eyes.

"So, I guess Keisha was right then." Tiffany said.

"About what?" Ariel asked.

"Her being a shape shifter." Tiffany said.

"Oh shit! That's right! She did say that!" Brittbrat said.

Troy sighed, and threw his hands up in the air.

"Look nigga, we all curse, we are all grown. Please don't try to walk around here like your a saint." Natasha said to Troy.

"I'm not a saint, but I am saved."

"So them months of repenting worked then?" Joniesha asked.

Troy glanced up at Joniesha. "Something like that."

Vann stood up. "What did you have to repent for?"

Troy glanced at Vann. "It's not important."

"Oh this is priceless!" Natasha said. "He doesn't know!"

"Know what?!" Vann asked.

Joniesha glanced at Natasha. "It's not your story to tell."

Natasha just shrugged, and smiled at Troy. "You want it to stay smooth around here Troy, I suggest you quit telling us how to speak or act, or I just might slip."

Troy glared at Natasha, then walked out of the room. Natasha smiled.

Before Vann could speak, Chicki spoke next. "So we got 2 days before this so called end of the world can occur. What's the plan?"

"Keep Joniesha calm." Tahneisha said. "I hate tigers."

"Tigers hate you." Gloria said.

"Heffa shut up that was lame." Tahneisha said.

Keon snickered. Tiffany punched him in his arm. "Nigga that was that funny."

Keon stopped laughing.

"So Joniesha, do some yoga, pilates, deep breathing, stay under Vann for next two days if that keeps you calm." Brittbrat said.

"I agree. We will be holding our breaths until that day is fully over." Briittneebee said.

"And then what?" Krys asked.

"Well wait until that day is over to see." Jordy said.

"You know what I think we all need to do?" Rihnay said.

"No one asked you. " Sabrina said.

Rihnay glared at Sabrina. "What the hell is your problem. You've been breathing down my neck for the past week."

"Just like you've been breathing down Dre's dick all week."

"POW BITCH!" Natasha said.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Rihnay asked.

Sabrina's hands went into her pockets. "Don't try to act innocent now bitch."

"Please!" Chicki said. "Before Sabrina gets reckless again, you know how extra her ass is."

"Chicki said ass." Tiffany snickered.

Chicki rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but smiled.

" I ain't scared of that crazy heffa."

Sabrina's eyes glazed over. "Crazy? I'll show you crazy."

Dre grabbed her around her waist before she could proceed. He carried her down the hallway, and they heard the door shut.

Rihany rolled her eyes. "Anyway...I think we should go out tonight. You know just let loose..it's been to uptight lately."

Najja nodded. "Yea..I agree."

"Ok..so we go out dancing tonight." Jemi glanced at her watch. "We got 3 hours before dark. Let's get it."
