Chapter 20 : Protection was my Goal

Koca woke up in a room, she glanced around. She saw a small table next to her bed, the walls were beige, and across the room was another bed. She watched at the person in the bed moved. The person sat up, and glanced at Koca.

"where are we?"

Koca got out the bed. "I don't know, all i remember is getting evacuated out the school by some big buff dude, and him driving us off in a car. Then i woke up here."

"Yea me too."

"What's your name?" Koca asked.

"Tahneisha. What's yours?"

"Koca."

Tahneisha and Koca shook hands. They both glanced at the door, as voices rung out. Koca opened the door, and glanced out. First person she saw was Keon. Keon glanced over.

"Hey ladies. Join the confused ass party."

Koca and Tahneisha walked into what looked like the living room where everyone seemed to be.

"Where are we?" Tahneisha asked Keon.

Keon glanced at her. "I don't know. Where'd that big nigga go Jeremy?"

Jeremy was glancing out the window. Franee was standing next to him gazing out the window also.

"I don't know Keon." Jeremy said.

"This place looks familiar." Franee said.

Domi rushed over to the window. "Yea you're right. I think we're in a different country."

Nori was walking around the living room, gazing at pictures. "This place sure is nice."

Dawn walked in eating on a bowl of cereal. "We're in Italy."

Every glanced at Dawn, as Sharon and Sheena came in behind her.

"Italy?!" Redd asked.

Sheena nodded. "Yea. If u look out the window, you can see The Colosseum."

"Which means we are in Rome to be exact." Sharon said.

"Cool!" Christina said. "I've always wanted to go to Rome!"

"Yes!! Italy has the best shopping centers!" Angel said.

Najja was leaning against the wall watching everyone get excited about their new location. He glanced around the room, but the woman who he was looking for wasn't here.

"Yo!"

Everyone stopped talking, and glanced at Najja. "Where are the others?"

Elizabeth glanced away from the window she had been looking out of, and glanced around. "You're right? Where's the devil twins?"

"And where my girl, Krys?" Monic said.

"They must have seperated us." Brianna said. Tori was standing next to here..she nodded in agreement.

"But where can they be?" Gloria asked, while staring up at the ceiling which was covered in beautiful paintings.

"Maybe we should try to call them." Kevin said.

"There is no reception in here." A deep voice rung out thru the room.

They all glanced at the figure that walked into the room.

"Damn he fine!" Stacy said.

"I agree!" Franee agreed. "You the dude that came to my room, and evacuated us from the school."

"Yea. I'm Vin. I'm here to keep you safe from Ace."

"Ace?" Tahneisha asked.

"Yea..he was going to blow up S.U." Vin said.

"Why?!" Koca asked.

"I can't say. If you know..you know. If you don't you don't. Just know you are here until my association, and others say the coast is clear."

"Soooo...we are all staying in this house together?" Domi asked.

Vin nodded.

"Are you living here with us?" Franee asked.

Vin nodded.

"You can come into my room anytime if you wanna work out my mattress with me." Franee said.

Everyone in the room bursted out laughing.

"Oooh! This one a freak like i like 'em" Frank said.

Franee smiled at Frank.

Vin smiled at Franee. "I'll keep that in mind. So my next orders is to take ya'll shopping. Since you have no clothes with you, and just to let you know all of ya'll belongings have been shipped to your homes."

"Shopping?! Yes!" Tahneisha said.

"Just get into small groups, and don't seperate. We live in 5."

Tahneisha grabbed Keon's arm. "I'm in your group."

Keon glanced down at her. "uh ok."

Joniesha walked into their new home for who knows how long. Tiffany followed behind her.

"Wow this place is dope!" Tiffany said.

"This whole island is the bomb.com" Chicki said.

"I totally agree!" Jemi said.

Brittbrat walked in twirling. "i love this island already! You see how clear that water was?!"

Sabrina was observing the shell clock on the fireplace. "This place is rather nice. Cayman Island is one of the most beautiful islands though."

"Cayman Island huh? How you know that?" Trey asked.

"Sabrina knows everything. What to know facts..she got it. She's like a walking wikipedia." Darryl said.

"More like an encyclopedia." Dre said. "Wikipedia is not always accurately correct."

Darryl's hands closed into fists. "Who asked you nigga."

"Now now! None of that here. Can we ever just live in peace!" Rihnay said.

Brandon shook his head. "Ya'll niggas always fighting. No bitch is worth that much pickering."

"Excuse me?" Sabrina asked.

"Who is ass calling a bitch?" Vivie asked.

Brandon held his hands up. "It was just a figure of speech. It was not meant towards Sabrina."

"Better not have been." said Ariel, as she walked into the kitchen.

Briitneebee was walking back from the hallway. "Damn these bedrooms are nice!"

"So how long we gone be on this island?" Samiyyah asked.

Vann walked in from the patio area. He glanced around at everyone. "I don't know. Until I get the clear."

"The clear? What exactly does that mean?" Cici asked.

"It means I was chosen to keep all of ya'll safe while they take care of business back in ATL."

"What if he does find us here? How you gonna protect us all. I think I need a gun." Natasha said with an evil smile.

Vann glances at Tash. "Im sure you do. I will get ya'll equipped as soon as possible."

"Yes!" Tash said.

"I don't know how to shoot a gun." Jemi said.

"Well you don't get one then! The rest of us got your back!" Tash said.

"POW bitch!" Vivie said.

"Damn right!" Natasha said, giving Vivie a high five.

"So what are we to do while we're here?" Miles asked.

"Yea..and does this islan have a McDonald's?" John asked.

Tiffany shook her head. "This nigga."

Everyone laughed.

"Well my next order is to please ya'll needs. So since all your belongings have been shipped to your homes, and you have only the clothes on your back, I have to take you sh-"

"Shopping!" Britt yelled.

"Hell yea!!!" Rihnay said. "I saw some banging as shops on the way here!"

"I'm not going anywhere." Joniesha said.

Everyone glanced at her.

Britt sighed. "Come on, Jonie! Stop throwing a fit! We're on a beautiful island."

"We're running for our lives. Ace can pop up anywhere!"

"And you don't think we can handle him?" Tiffany asked.

"I don't know. But i'm not taking chances. I'm going to stay here while ya'll shop."

Joniesha walked out of the room, down the hallway to pick a room. She glanced in a room covered in different shades of blue. She walked in, and sat down on the bed. She put her head in her hands. She knew she was being a bitch, but she couldn't stand being forced to be in the presence of Vann. She wanted to kill Ace already, and go about her life.

"Joniesha?"

Joniesha glanced up at Chicki.

Chicki walked in, and sat down next to Joniesha. "I know you're hurting right now,but look, as you said, Ace can pop up anytime. We could lose someone at anytime. This could be the last time I talk to you. Who knows. So we need to live to the fullest. We're on a beautiful island, and all these clothes we are about to buy go on Vann's associations tab. You really wanna pass that up?"

Joniesha sighed. "You're right."

"Yes!" Joniesha heard Tiffany say from the hallway.

Joniesha smiled.

Chicki stood up. "Come on love."

Joniesha stood up also. "Just make sure his ass stay away from me."

~~~After many hours of shopping around the island, they all came running into the house heading towards rooms.

Joniesha, Tiffany, Natasha, Brittbrat, and Sabrina stayed in one room together.

"Nice choice, Joniesha" Brittbrat said. "The blues in this room are gorgeous."

Joniesha smiled.

Natasha plopped down on her bed. "So, let's get dolled up for the backyard barbecue. Knock these niggas on their ass."

Tiffany was looking through her bags. "I agree! Sexy is our middle names."

~~~The men were all outside in the back of the huge island home barbecuin.

"what's the girls doing? Damn it's been two hours since we've seen them." Vann said.

"Nigga they probably gettin all sexified." Brandon said.

Trey smiled. "I need to see some sexified females right now, to get my mind on some other shit for a moment."

"Well here comes the first one." Miles asked.

They all glanced at Jemi, who was dressed in this:


Jemi spun around smiling. "Ya'll like?"

"It defintely fits your personality." John said.

Jemi laughed. "Well thanks Mr. Sweet Tea." The guys snickered.

"Well fellas, me and the girls have decided to do a little show for you."

"Yaaaaaaaaay!" John said clapping.

Jemi rolled her eyes. As "Upgrade You" By Beyonce started to play. "Anyways, first up we have the lovely, Samiyyah."

Sammiyah walked out with both of her hands on her hips, and posed. She wore:

The guys clapped. Samiyyah got her walk on, making sure her hips swung seductively. She went over, and sat down next to Trey.

"Next up we have the gorgeous Vivie."

Vivie walked out wearing:


Vivie glanced at John as she walked out. John's eyes clashed with hers, and traveled down her body. Vivie almost tripped from the reaction her body had from the look, but she held her composure. She barely heard the guys clapping, as she sat down next to John.

"You look real nice." John said.

"I know." Vivie said.

John laughed.

Jemi cleared her throat. "Next up is country ass Cici."

"Jemi shut up!" Cici said as she came out, and posed.

Jemi laughed. Cici was wearing:



Cici started doing the butterfly. The guys started laughing. Cici laughed, and plopped down next to Vivie.

As "Knock You Down" by keri hilson came on, Jemi started to tap her foot to the beat.

"Next up is our feisty, Natasha."

Natasha walked out voguing. Natasha wore:


Natasha started dropped it liked its hot when "Lollipop" by Lil wayne came on.

"POW Bitch!" Vivie yelled.

Natasha laughed, and walked over, and sat down next to Vivie and Brandon.

"Next up is the oh so glamorous Brittbrat."

Britt came out spinning wearing:


Britt started krumping like Beyonce when the song switched to "Sweet Dreams" by Beyonce came on. She turned around, and said, "Check out the back of these heels!"

"Those are hella cute!" Samiyyah said. Everyone agreed.

Britt smiled, and naomi campbell walked her ass all the way over to where Trey and Samiyyah were sitting.

"Next is our fly gal Krystal."

Krystal walked out nice and slow as "Slow dance" by Keri Hilson came on. She wore:


She started to lean wit it rock wit it, as John was in his seat, and started to join in with a goofy smile on his face.

Krys laughed. "Dumb ass tink tink."

John laughed. Krys walked over to the table with all the food and drinks on it.

"Next up is our sweet and salty Rihnay."

Rihnay came out rolling her hips as "Break Up" by Mario came on. She wore:


Rihnay started to tic her hips towards Miles. Jemi laughed and rolled her eyes. Rihnay turned around, and sat down in Miles lap.

"Next up is our lil accident prone Sabrina."

Sabrina laughed as "Decode" by Paramore came on. She wore:


Sabrina started to walk, and as she did her foot got caught on the threshold. Dre and Darryl both ran across the patio to catch her. They both caught her before she hit the ground. Sabrina glanced up at them both.

"Uh thanks."

They both let her go slowly as she made her way to the patio table where everyone was sitting.

Jemi was trying not to laugh, as she announced the next S.U. model for the night.

"Next up is our most talented songwriter,Chicki."

"Aww Jemi." Chicki said as she walked out, and "Drop It Low" by ester dean feat. Chris brown came on. She wore:


Chicki just stood for a moment, then continued to walk normally.

"What the hell Chicki!" Tiffany said, as she popped out on the patio. She wore:


"You can't walk out here to Me and Jonie's song, and walk like a stick is up your ass!"

Joniesha walked out laughing. She wore:


"Damn right Chicki! This is how you do it." Joniesha said.

Tiffany and Joniesha started to dance their asses off in their dresses. Briittneebee walked out wearing:


She posed, and walked over to Joniesha and Tiffany. Joniesha and Tiff froze, and then all three of them dropped and did the 5000. Everyone laughed.

As "Run This Town" came on. Everyone got up, and started to dance. All except Joniesha. She walked off. She always forgot her problems when her and Tiffany got together, but as she walked down towards the beach that was right behind the island house her hurt feelings came crashing back. She could barely hear the music now. She sat down on the sand, and stared at the waves crash. she put her chin on her knees, and closed her eyes.

"Blue was always your color."

Joniesha's eyes popped open, but she didn't turn her head in the direction the voice came from.

"I've missed you Jonie." Vann said.

Joniesha closed her eyes, and sighed. "It would be nice if I could be left alone..thanks."

"I've left you alone for too long already. Five other dudes you've slept with since me huh?"

Joniesha turned her head in Vann's direction. "How'd you know that?"

Vann glanced off at the ocean. "Just because I had to leave you doesn't mean I didn' keep tabs on you."

"Had to leave me?" Joniesha asked.

Vann sighed. "I was forced to leave you." Vann said quietly. "I joined this society when I was eighteen. My father runs it. He said that catching feelings or having any ties was wrong in my business. I will make enemies that would kill who ever was close to be to get to me. I didn't want that to happen."

Joniesha stared at Vann with her mouth open.

Vann looked down at her, and laughed. "When you and bad ass Tiffany set my apartment and car on fire, I had the biggest laugh at my house. You always was a gutta female. I always liked that about you."

Joniesha still stared at him.

"Say something."

Joniesha blinked, then closed her mouth. "So, you left me so I wouldn't get hurt?"

"Yes."

"You had to sleep with other females for what?"

"Never slept with them...only wanted you to believe so it would make you hate me and leave. It was the only way."

Joniesha stared at him again. Everything she had believed had been a lie. Vann had left to protect her, it should have made her feel better but it didn't

"Why didn't you just tell me you had a mission to complete or some shit. Instead of making me suffer for months! I would have played along..I could have handled myself if bitches wanted to come after me."

"I couldn't! It wouldn't have worked that way! Where talking about professional shooters here Joniesha. I couldn't take that risk."

"So you risked my heart instead."

Vann opened his mouth to speak, then closed it. Before Joniesha could speak, she heard yelling. Joniesha and Vann glanced up. Sabrina was rolling down the hill to towards them with Dre and Darryl running after her. Sabrina was screaming "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

She ran right into Joniesha's legs, and Joniesha fell. Sabrina stared at Joniesha, then started laughing. Dre and Darryl slowed to a walk. Dre was shaking his head with a smile on his face. Darryl was staring at Sabrina intently to make sure she wasn't in pain.

Vann smiled down at Sabrina. "You okay girl?"

Sabrina continued to laugh. "I'm excellent."

Joniesha stood up, and brushed herself off. She put her hand out to help Sabrina up. When Sabrina was safely up on her feet. Joniesha turned to walk down the beach..she needed to be alone...to think. She didn't know what to think of the new information she just got.

    BONG!!! Very nicely done! Ummm Tah better watch out...Tiff don't play with her man, lol. This little story is starting to open quite a few possible story lines. I'm loving it. Intereseting development between Vann and Joni. All the outfits are super cute! I'm stealing Tash's, lol...and my Britt w/ her cute babydoll dresses ...awwww. Once again I roll out out the bed to read this story, lol....can't wait to read more.
