1 week has past...it had taken that long for the police to investigate everyone who was present during the attack of Taj or had associated with her. Najja and Briittneebee sat in the library studying for their economics class. Britt was reading the school newspaper.
"Sabrina did a excellent job writing this for her not to have been there. It's very detailed." Britt said.
Najja kept his eyes on his book, and replied. "Yea I read it this morning, she did very well."
"So now what? We are all in danger now?"
Najja continued to write down notes. "Yea..I believe so. We can't trust anyone. Anyone can be in partnership with Ace."
"So how you know I'm not associated?"
Najja finally glanced up at Britt. "I just know. Trey involves himself with just random women. Crazy women who fall too quick, and will flip on your ass when you don't return a call. This is why I don't date, or associate with a lot of women because most are either crazy about fashion, crazy about sex, or just plan crazy."
"And I'm okay?" Britt asked.
"Trust me you wouldn't be sitting here with me if you wasn't." Najja said.
"So what category do I fit in?"
"Crazy, sexy, cool but crazy in a good way." Najja said with a smile. "Now shut up and work." He said with a wink, and went back to studying.
Britt did a small sigh to herself, and went back to studying.
Back in Sabrina, Brittbrat, and Keisha's dorm, Britt had just got done reading the school newspaper.
"Sabrina! You killed this story!!"
Sabrina was on the couch typing her paper for English class. "Thanks, you, Joniesha, and Tiffany were very detailed."
"I love the picture in the front! It looks gorgeous."
"Only because you're in it." Sabrina said with a small smile.
"True." Britt said.
Keisha walked into the living room, and sat down.
"So the police said for all of us to watch our backs. What are we watching out for?"
"Ace." Britt said.
"He's this big time drug dealer, who is like a billionaire. The police hasn't been able to pinpoint anything on him. He has the best lawyers in the world repping for him." Sabrina said.
"So Taj was working for him?" Keisha asked.
"She not only worked for him, she was his kid. That's even worse on Trey's head." Sabrina continued.
"So Trey basically brought this down on us?"
"Yea."
"So how do we know Ace doesn't have anyone else watching and listening?"
"We don't" Britt said. "Anyone can be working for him.So we gotta keep our eyes out. The Songbook Ladybots need to have a meeting real soon about further actions."
Sabrina nodded.
Trey was in his room pacing. He hated the danger he had brought down on his friends, and his school. He had to do something to stop this but what? He had got a letter in his school mailbox from Ace saying, "Deal is off...the hunt begans."
Trey hated being afraid, but that's exactly what he was.
At Troy's house he paced back and forth.
"So you're telling me that you got involved with this crap?"
Joniesha frowned. "Everyone's involved Troy, and she came after my gurls. I'm not gonna sit and do nothing."
Troy sighed. "Violence is not the answer, Joniesha."
"It is when live and death comes into play."
Joniesha continued to read the school newspaper. Troy glanced down at her. Joniesha sighed, and glanced up at Troy.
"What, Troy?!"
"We need to talk."
Joniesha set the newspaper down...aw hell.
"I think we should stop all this messing around, it can cause me to lose my job if it gets out."
Joniesha glared. "You knew this before we got together."
"Yea I know, but I was...desperate. You see it's been a while for me, and i'm a saved man Joniesha. I gotta repent for months to get this off my record."
Joniesha stood up, and grabbed her purse of the table. She walked to Troy's door, and grabbed her jacket off the coat rack.
With her back to Troy she said. "See you in class tomorrow. Have a good life."
Then Joniesha opened Troy's door, and walked to her car. When she drove off she was glad she hadn't looked back once.
When Joniesha got on campus, she made her way quickly to her dorm. On her way she heard voices between the math and english building.
"Got damnit! We have to strike soon. We can't let Ace down." said a male voice.
"I know what I'm doing." said a female voice.
"Do you? You only hopped on the bandwagon when Trey crushed ur heart also, and you found out you can get back at these females for hatin on you. Ace just be lettin anyone in now. I was sent here from the beginning just like Taj. We strike in two days."
Joniesha snuck away unseen, and made her way up to her dorm. When she burst into her dorm, Tiffany and Tash were watching t.v. They glanced up at her when she ran in.
"what happened?" Tash asked, seeing the expression on Joniesha's face.
"We have traitors amongst us."
Tiffany hopped up. "Who?!"
"Jay and Twan."
Tash hopped and punched the air. "Yes!!! I knew I not to trust his ass! When do we strike?!"
Joniesha's phone started to ring. She answered it. "Hello?"
Tiffany and Tash watched as Joniesha talked on her cell. When she hung up she looked at them with excitement in her eyes.
"Songbook Ladybots meeting tomorrrow. Operation Twan and Jay going down..in effect."
Tash smiled. "Bout time I got in some action around here!!!"
